We used the police car parked around the corner from the bikes and didn't fire at the police until they fired first. We weren't daft enough to trigger NOOSE on the Pacific heist. The damage reduction given by the vests/armor is essential for surviving HARD mode.ġ5 minutes (less cutscenes and police escape time) isn't a large amount of time to go in from the Casino Main Door, land 80 headshots and escape in a Jugular for the Aggressive approach.
I haven't stood there and blown myself up with RPG/sticky bombs but I did complete the Casino Heist ELITE awards (x3) and the Mastermind challenge recently. You're tougher without being completely immune.
Indeed it appears to be the heavy utility vest in all but name only. The reinforced armor appears to have exactly the same effect as the heavy utility vest.
